About the Role

We are on a mission to liberate the love of seafood by serving high-quality, sustainably sourced dishes in a vibrant, fast-casual environment. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) works alongside the General Manager to drive daily operations, ensure top-tier food safety, optimize shift labor, and cultivate a structure of high throughput and urgency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations: Oversee shift execution, manage kitchen and front-of-house workflow, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure rapid speed of service.
  • People Development: Source, interview, onboard, and actively coach team members to foster a culture of honesty and consistent execution.
  • Financial Controls: Assist with labor management, accurate scheduling, inventory control, and executing margin targets.
  • Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional hospitality, manage guest recovery, and build lasting community relations.
  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain impeccable health code, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times.


Qualifications & Fit Checklist

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of management experience in fast-casual, QSR, or high-volume full-service environments.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of team development, high integrity, and leading by example.
  • Operational Skills: Solid understanding of food safety, scheduling regulations, and labor controls.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work peak periods, including evenings and weekends.
  • Location: Local to the Cerritos or Mission Hills areas preferred.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 annually (Non-Exempt, based on a 45-hour workweek).
