About the opportunity

An established, destination-caliber fine dining concept north of Albany, NY is seeking an exceptional senior operations leader to join a driven ownership group at a pivotal moment of growth. The restaurant has anchored its market for over a decade with a reputation for culinary excellence and an uncompromising guest experience — and the new ownership is committed to building on that foundation while expanding the portfolio with additional concepts.

This is a rare opportunity to step into an organization where the culinary vision is already world-class, the culture is deeply rooted, and the ownership has the ambition and resources to grow meaningfully. The right leader will have room to shape what comes next.

What you'll lead

  • Oversee operations across two distinct dining concepts
  • Partner directly with ownership to identify, develop, and execute new restaurant concepts as the group expands
  • Serve as a mentor and growth partner
  • Work hand in hand with an acclaimed, long-tenured Executive Chef to maintain the elevated standards that have defined this concept while helping shape what's next
  • Own the business: P&L, staffing, standards, guest experience, and culture across both concepts

What we're looking for

  • A seasoned operations leader with a track record in premium or fine dining — ideally someone currently operating at the Director of Operations, Multi-Unit GM, or Senior GM level
  • Experience with or exposure to acclaimed restaurant groups, including those with James Beard, Michelin, or equivalent recognition
  • Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and build bench strength
  • Strong financial acumen: labor, COGS, P&L management, and the discipline to manage a high-volume, high-standard operation profitably
  • NYC or major market experience strongly preferred; someone whose resume reflects serious culinary and hospitality environments
  • Low ego, high standards — someone who leads with kindness, hospitality, and genuine passion for both the guest and the team

Why this role

  • Join at the ground floor of an ambitious ownership group's expansion
  • Work alongside one of the region's most respected culinary talents, whose #1 rule is kindness
  • Lead a concept with an exceptional existing reputation and a loyal guest base
  • Be part of a beautiful, sought-after community in one of the Northeast's most desirable destinations
  • Compensation and opportunity that will scale as the group grows

Compensation: $130,000–$150,000 base salary · Bonus compensation available · Full relocation package provided · Benefits package in development
