Role Summary

The Restaurant General Manager will oversee all day-to-day operations of a high-volume restaurant. You will lead and develop a talented team, maintain outstanding guest satisfaction, ensure financial targets are met or exceeded, and uphold the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. This is a hands-on leadership role in a growing concept that rewards strong performers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing hourly and management team in a high-volume setting (full P&L accountability).
  • Drive operational excellence including labor control, food cost management, inventory, and overall profitability.
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences and maintain top-tier service standards.
  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent while fostering a positive, high-energy culture.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, food handling, and company policies.
  • Partner with the executive team on growth initiatives, menu performance, and operational improvements.
  • Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to achieve or exceed sales and profit goals.
  • Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and facility standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant (full-service or high-volume casual preferred; $3M+ in annual sales ideal).
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding financial targets (labor, food cost, sales growth).
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills with the ability to motivate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for guest service and operational excellence.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant financials, inventory management, and cost controls.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred.
  • Prior multi-unit or concept growth experience a plus.
