Baker / Prep Cook - Elkins Park, PA

$18 - $20 / hour | Flexible Daytime Schedule | Full-Time 40+ Hours

A growing hospitality group in Elkins Park is looking for a reliable and passionate Baker / Prep Cook to join our team!

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with fresh ingredients, enjoys an early/daytime schedule, and wants to grow with a company that promotes from within. Whether you're an experienced baker or a prep cook with solid kitchen fundamentals, we want to hear from you.

Schedule & Pay:

• Pay: $18 - $20 per hour, based on experience
• Schedule: Flexible daytime hours - No late nights! Perfect for work-life balance.
• Location: Elkins Park, PA

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and bake dough, make ice cream from scratch and other prep items
• Execute daily prep lists for kitchen and bakery operations - including chopping, mixing, portioning, and sauce / filling production
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation at all times
• Ensure consistency, freshness, and presentation of all products
• Properly label, date, and rotate all products and ingredients
• Collaborate with the culinary team to help with new menu items and specials
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Baker, Prep Cook, Pastry Assistant, or similar kitchen role preferred
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques, measurements, and kitchen equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs
• A positive attitude and passion for great food
