An established senior living and healthcare organization in the Williamsburg, Virginia area is seeking an experienced Certified Dietary Manager / Healthcare Dining Manager to oversee daily healthcare dining operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on foodservice leader who thrives in a resident-centered environment and knows how to balance regulatory standards with genuine hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct daily foodservice and dining operations within healthcare environments.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and develop dietary and dining team members.
• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare foodservice regulations and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate therapeutic diets, texture-modified meals, and special dietary requirements with clinical nutrition professionals.
• Monitor food quality, meal accuracy, timeliness, and resident satisfaction.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, labor, and operational expenses.
• Maintain proper documentation and support regulatory inspections.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, clinical teams, and department leadership.

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential strongly preferred.
• Previous healthcare dining, long-term care, or senior living foodservice management experience.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic diets and healthcare foodservice regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership and staff development abilities.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and daily operations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to maintaining exceptional standards of care and hospitality.
