Are you a motivated and skilled sales professional with a passion for the restaurant and hospitality industry? A boutique restaurant brand in the DC area is seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing to join our growing team. This hybrid/remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while requiring proximity to our home store in the DC region.

What We’re Looking For
We are a parent company operating a small collection of boutique, casual-style restaurants with large footprints and event spaces. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record in restaurant event sales, banquet sales, and selling buyouts. Experience in prospecting and managing inbound leads is essential, along with a knack for local store marketing and social media outreach.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive event and banquet sales for three restaurant locations.
  • Manage and convert inbound leads into successful sales.
  • Proactively prospect new business opportunities for private events and buyouts.
  • Create and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Utilize local store marketing and social media to boost visibility and attract business.
  • Collaborate closely with restaurant teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Provide support and conduct occasional travel to out-of-state locations.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven success in restaurant event and banquet sales and selling private buyouts.
  • Experience in managing leads and building long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, thrive in a self-starter environment, and hit sales targets.
  • Strong skills in marketing and social media strategies to drive engagement.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proximity to the DC area (Virginia or Washington, DC base required).
