Restaurant Manager 
Kearny, NJ

Position Summary:
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily front- and back-of-house operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience, strong team performance, and achievement of financial goals. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive service standards, develop staff, and maintain operational excellence in a high-volume, casual dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including dining room, bar, and kitchen coordination
  • Deliver a consistent, high-quality guest experience by upholding service standards and resolving guest concerns promptly
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members and supervisors to build a strong, engaged workforce
  • Monitor and control labor, food, and beverage costs to meet or exceed budgeted targets
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times
  • Oversee scheduling, inventory management, and ordering processes to maintain efficient operations
  • Drive sales and profitability through local store marketing initiatives and execution of promotions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff
  • Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and growth
Qualifications:
  • 2–5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume casual dining setting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage financial performance, including P&L responsibility
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and local health regulations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
