The Opportunity
We are seeking a General Manager to oversee our small yet dynamic team of 18 employees, including 2 assistant managers. This is a hands-on leadership role in a polished casual environment. You’ll guide daily operations, maintain service excellence, and ensure the continued profitability of our beloved bistro wine bar. While wine knowledge is a plus, our in-house certified wine experts will support you on this front, allowing you to focus on creating memorable guest experiences and driving success.
Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of a full-service bistro wine bar.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 18 employees, including 2 assistant managers, to deliver exceptional service.
• Manage schedules, labor costs, and ensure operational efficiency.
• Uphold food quality and service standards for chef-driven small plates.
• Collaborate with the team to further enhance the guest experience and grow the business.
• Play a key role in maintaining the bistro’s profitability and strong reputation.
• Foster a vibrant and positive work environment for both staff and guests.

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a casual or polished casual full-service restaurant.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train, and motivate a team.
• Basic knowledge of wine; willingness to work collaboratively with certified wine experts.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• High-energy and guest-driven mindset.

• Base Salary: $85,000 - $90,000
