What You’ll Do

As our Executive Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, develop innovative menus, and lead catering events. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on menu planning, food costing, and inventory control.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain excellence in food preparation and presentation.
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory processes.
  • Lead the execution of catered functions and special events.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support the implementation of new culinary programs and company initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive kitchen leadership, preferably in high-volume or institutional settings.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of food safety, cost management, and kitchen best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and kitchen management software is a plus.
  • Certifications: ServSafe Certification preferred.
  • Leadership: Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills.
