General Manager – Food & Beverage / Entertainment Venue
Location: Manassas, Virginia

Our client, a successful and expanding franchisee, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead their high-volume food, beverage, and entertainment venue in the Manassas, VA area. This operation generates between $4M and $6M in annual revenue and requires a leader with an appropriate blend of restaurant operations knowledge and entertainment management experience, similar to concepts like Dave & Buster's or Bowlero. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of leading large teams and developing subordinate managers in a multifaceted environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct all venue operations, providing leadership and guidance to department managers across the kitchen, bar, and entertainment attractions.
  • Oversee a team of up to 100 hourly employees and salaried managers, focusing on effective delegation, staff development, and performance management.
  • Assume full ownership of the venue's Profit & Loss statement, driving revenue while managing labor, COGS, and inventory to achieve financial targets.
  • Uphold exceptional standards for guest service, food quality, and facility safety and cleanliness.
  • Ensure consistent compliance with all health, safety, and Virginia ABC regulations.
  • Manage guest recovery situations with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Develop local marketing initiatives and community partnerships to increase brand visibility and drive traffic.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of senior management experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting that includes a significant entertainment component.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing subordinate managers and front-line teams of 75-100+ employees.
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience managing a P&L for an operation of comparable scale.
  • Proficiency with restaurant POS, scheduling, and inventory management systems.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
  • ServSafe Manager and Virginia ABC Manager certifications are preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
