The Opportunity

Gecko Hospitality is exclusively representing a premier, multi-brand hospitality group in its search for aRestaurant Marketing Director. This is a senior-level opportunity for a results-driven marketing leader to join a dynamic organization and shape the brand narrative for a multi-million-dollar portfolio. Based in the Ashburn, VA area, you will lead a talented team and report directly to the Vice President of Marketing.
Our client is a leader in the restaurant industry, known for operating successful full-service concepts with active bar programs as well as popular fast-casual brands. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in a similar role within the restaurant sector and a proven track record of driving guest acquisition, loyalty, and brand growth.

Key Responsibilities

As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for the development and execution of all marketing initiatives across the portfolio. Your leadership will be critical in driving brand awareness and revenue.

• Develop and implement strategic, multi-channel marketing plans to support individual brand objectives and overall portfolio growth.

1. Lead, mentor, and develop a subordinate team of four marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

1. Oversee the digital marketing ecosystem, including social media strategy, email marketing campaigns, SEO/SEM, website management, and online reputation management.

1. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI on all campaigns and initiatives.

1. Direct local store marketing (LSM) efforts, new restaurant openings (NROs), and promotional calendars to drive traffic and sales.

1. Analyze market trends, campaign performance data, and consumer insights to inform strategy and identify new opportunities for growth.

1. Collaborate with culinary, operations, and finance teams to ensure marketing initiatives are fully integrated and aligned with business goals.

1. Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and media partners.

• Must currently hold a Marketing Director or similar senior marketing role within the restaurant industry. Experience with full-service (including bar concepts) or fast-casual brands is strongly preferred.

1. Demonstrated experience leading a marketing team and managing direct reports.

1. Proven success in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for multiple brands simultaneously.

1. Strong expertise in digital marketing, social media, loyalty programs, and brand management.

1. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

1. Outstanding leadership, communication, and project management capabilities.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.

• Base Salary: Competitive base salary in the $120,000 range, commensurate with experience.
