About the Director of Finance Role

This Director of Finance & Administration position in Charlotte, NC is a high-impact leadership role with direct visibility to ownership.

You will oversee financial operations while actively participating in the day-to-day accounting functions that support a multi-unit restaurant business.

Director of Finance Responsibilities

• Generate and deliver financial reports to ownership and senior leadership
• Analyze profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow
• Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and reconciliations
• Review and validate payroll prior to processing
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning
• Ensure compliance with tax reporting, audits, and financial regulations
• Partner with accounting staff to improve processes, controls, and reporting accuracy
• Identify and implement improvements in financial systems and efficiencies

Director of Finance Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or restaurant financial management
• Proven experience with financial reporting, AP/AR, payroll review, and reconciliations
• Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing financial statements and balance sheets
• Experience supporting multi-unit restaurant operations preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills

Required Skills

• Restaurant365 (R365) accounting software experience REQUIRED
• Advanced knowledge of restaurant financial operations and reporting
• Strong attention to detail and process-driven mindset
