Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced **Sales Manager** to drive the property’s sales and marketing initiatives. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences and implementing strategic sales efforts to achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel in revenue-driving responsibilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
Sales and Marketing Management
- Drive room sales through proactive outreach, cold calls, and relationship building with local businesses, corporate accounts, and travel agencies.
- Identify new market opportunities and create tailored promotions to grow revenue.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales and Marketing teams to align with property-wide revenue goals.
- Coordinate with the General Manager to develop and execute an annual sales plan.
- Represent the hotel at local networking events, trade shows, and community organizations to promote the property and build strong partnerships.
- Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and sales metrics to adjust strategies accordingly.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years in a hotel management position, with experience in sales preferred.
- Proven leadership skills in a hospitality environment, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue management practices and sales strategies.
- Proficiency in front office software (e.g., Opera, OnQ, or similar systems) and CRM tools.
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operations.
