Key Responsibilities
- Lead staff to ensure seamless service, maintaining optimal staffing levels.
- Work with the General Manager, Kitchen Manager, and Assistant Kitchen Manager to set goals and foster teamwork.
- Manage seasonal hiring needs and keep ownership informed of staffing requirements.
- Train and guide bar and serving staff, overseeing bar operations and scheduling.
- Coordinate with student visa companies to place H2B and J-1 workers, assisting with housing and travel.
- Update ownership on improvement and maintenance projects.
- Support marketing with on-premise photography and videography campaigns.
- Handle HR tasks such as hiring, performance reviews, payroll, and certifications with management support.
- Create and manage bar menus, pricing, and staff training while monitoring bar and food costs.
- Collaborate with BOH managers to train staff, uphold service standards, and foster a positive work environment.
- Order and manage FOH supplies, ensuring cost efficiency and inventory control.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in all FOH areas, adhering to health regulations.
- Monitor food preparation, service quality, and address customer concerns promptly.
- Ensure efficient service delivery, minimizing comps and voids.
- Propose improvements to enhance operations, as directed by ownership.
- Assist with menu planning, pricing, and programming.
- Manage bar inventory and maintain delivery records for ownership review.
- Work with ownership to control food and beverage costs.
Hours
- Peak season: 40-55 hours per week
- Off-season: 30-40 hours per week
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or a similar hospitality role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
- ServSafe certification required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with staff and guests.
- Familiarity with bar operations and coffee service preferred.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
