Position – Head Chef


Job Description:

We are seeking a Head Chef who brings a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a passion for leading high-volume, full-service scratch kitchens. Our ideal candidate will be skilled at creating a cohesive, high-performing culinary team through recruitment, training, and mentorship, all while maintaining the highest food quality standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily kitchen operations, driving profitability through cost analysis, and ensuring a seamless execution of our scratch-made menu. You'll need a deep understanding of P&L, sanitation protocols, and equipment maintenance. Strong communication and delegation skills are essential to maintaining efficiency and upholding our strict standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a full-service, scratch kitchen environment.
  • Expertise in scratch cooking (we make everything in-house, including dressings and sauces—there’s no freezer on-site!).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Ability to manage food preparation and presentation while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Knowledge of P&L and food cost management.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and POS systems).
  • Must be excited and passionate about the food served.
  • This role emphasizes operational management over creative input; we’re looking for a leader, not a restaurant owner or creative chef.
