Kitchen Manager – Full Service Restaurant Leadership | Springfield, MO

Compensation: $60,000–$65,000 base + performance bonus

Schedule: Full-time | Rotating weekends | Open availability preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all kitchen operations to ensure food quality, consistency, and safety
  • Hire, train, and develop kitchen team members to maintain high performance
  • Oversee prep, production, and execution of menu items during peak service times
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
  • Control food cost, inventory, and waste through efficient ordering and prep systems
  • Collaborate with front-of-house managers to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
  • Foster a respectful, supportive, and positive back-of-house team culture


What You Bring:

  • Minimum 3 years of kitchen leadership experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Strong understanding of BOH systems, inventory control, and labor management
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to train, mentor, and motivate a diverse kitchen team
  • Calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
  • Availability for full-time hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
