We are seeking a Director of Business Development to help shape our growth strategy and secure new opportunities in the vibrant hospitality space. This remote position offers an exciting chance to impact and scale operations in a variety of competitive markets.

Job Qualifications

To excel as the Director of Business Development, you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Must have previous hotel business development experience helping 3rd party management companies expand.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in hospitality development, franchising, or business development.
• Proven success in securing new hotel, resort, or management contracts.
• Strong network within hospitality, real estate, or the investment community, with exceptional relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual communication tools.
• A willingness to travel as required (up to 30 - 40% of the time).

Job Responsibilities

As a Director of Business Development, you will have the opportunity to:

• Drive growth by identifying and evaluating new management and development opportunities for hotels and resorts.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with industry stakeholders, including hotel owners, developers, brokers, and investors.
• Lead outreach campaigns to generate high-quality development leads.

• Represent the organization at hospitality events, trade shows, and networking functions.
• Manage and maintain a detailed development pipeline using internal tools.
• Support contract negotiations and oversee the transition process for management deals.
• Work closely with marketing to enhance brand visibility and reputation in key markets.
• Provide leadership with regular updates on market trends, pipeline performance, and projected opportunities.
