This is more than a sales and marketing position; it’s an opportunity to influence the legacy of boutique hospitality in a city renowned for its history, culture, and hospitality. You’ll play a pivotal role in connecting these hotels with local partners, community stakeholders, and key accounts, driving outcomes that reinforce both profitability and the city’s reputation as a world-class destination.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Design and execute a cohesive sales and marketing strategy that aligns with business goals across all five properties.
  • Market Development: Proactively identify new business opportunities, targeting transient, group, and corporate business segments.
  • Revenue Optimization: Partner with revenue management to establish impactful rate strategies, optimize inventory controls, and enhance profitability.
  • Goal-Oriented Execution: Drive individual and team booking performance, with an emphasis on business travel, extended stays, and leisure markets.
  • Innovative Campaigns: Develop engaging promotional packages, creative campaigns, and compelling local activations to drive interest and bookings.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong connections with key clients, tourism partners, and community stakeholders to strengthen our market presence.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, including proposals, contracts, site visits, and seamless communication with clients.
  • Data-Informed Decisions: Analyze market trends and performance metrics to continuously refine sales and marketing strategies.
  • Community Representation: Act as an ambassador for our hotels at local events, trade shows, and within the New Orleans community.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality Expertise: A proven history of success in hotel sales, ideally within a multi-property or boutique setting.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the New Orleans hospitality landscape, key demand drivers, and local market nuances.
  • Leadership Aptitude: A visionary leader with exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to drive independent initiatives while effectively working with diverse teams.
  • Organizational Prowess: Outstanding time-management skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Educational Foundation: Associate’s degree in business administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to generate leads, secure bookings, and deliver results at scale.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Company-paid life insurance policy for peace of mind
  • Generous paid time off, including vacations and holidays, to foster work-life balance.
  • 401(k) with a company match to support your financial future.
  • Access to voluntary insurance options, including short-term disability, life, accident, and critical illness coverage
  • Pet insurance to care for your furry companions.
  • Educational assistance programs to support your personal development.
  • Hotel discounts, travel assistance, and more, because we believe in experiencing the joys of hospitality firsthand.
