We are conducting a confidential search for a Community Manager to oversee a 116-unit property located in the vibrant North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis. This property offers a unique blend of historic warehouse charm and modern amenities, catering to residents seeking a dynamic and connected living experience. The management company is dedicated to creating community-driven environments and is seeking a hands-on leader to drive operations and resident satisfaction.


Position Overview

The Community Manager will play a critical role in the success of the property, overseeing daily operations, leasing, and resident relations. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires a proactive, sales-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will lead by example, actively engaging with residents, managing the on-site team, and ensuring the property operates at its highest potential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leasing & Sales:
  • Drive leasing efforts to meet and exceed occupancy goals.
  • Manage renewals and ensure a seamless leasing process for new and returning residents.
  • Resident Relations:
  • Provide exceptional, white-glove service to residents, addressing concerns and fostering a sense of community.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day property operations, including contractor coordination and maintenance team collaboration.
  • Ensure the property is well-maintained and operates efficiently.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the on-site team, including a Leasing Specialist and Senior Maintenance staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually (up to $90,000 for exceptional candidates).
  • Bonus Potential: 8%–10% of salary, based on renewals and new client acquisition.
  • Benefits Package:
  • Full benefits package.
  • 20% rent credit at another property (on-site living not permitted).


Qualifications

  • Hands-on leadership style with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Background in property management, leasing, or hospitality (e.g., hotel sales or assistant property management roles).
  • Proven track record in sales and customer service.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptable and resourceful, with a passion for community building.
