Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a results-driven and client-focused Sales Manager to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-end sales, a deep understanding of the luxury market, and a passion for photography and videography. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from initial client inquiry to contract signing, while also coaching and mentoring a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed targets. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on sales expertise, and excellent leadership skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. Identify new business opportunities and target markets within the luxury event, wedding, and corporate sectors.
  • Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and high-value clients. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the entire sales process, including lead generation, discovery calls, client consultations (in-person and virtual), proposal creation, and contract negotiation.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline using our CRM system, ensuring all client communications and sales activities are meticulously documented and followed up on.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the creative team (photographers, videographers, editors) to ensure a seamless client experience from initial sale through project delivery.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts in the Charlotte and surrounding area's luxury visual content space.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Provide regular reports to leadership on sales performance, pipeline health, and key metrics.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a hospitality role.
  • Proven experience in a high-end or luxury sales environment, preferably within the photography, videography, events, or creative services industry.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for aesthetics and quality.
  • A self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient mindset.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends, to accommodate client meetings and events.

Salary Range - $50 - $55k + commission (6 - 8%) based on an initial goal of $60k a month)
