Title of Position: Director of Events


Compensation: $110k to $122k plus incentive program


Job Description:

The Director of Events oversees all aspects of the Events and Banquet Departments, including the coordination of corporate events, weddings, receptions, and other social celebrations. This role is responsible for driving sales revenue, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest service standards. The Director of Events will lead and mentor a team of event professionals, manage client relationships, and ensure seamless execution of all events. This position requires a proactive leader who can develop action plans to achieve financial goals, foster a positive work environment, and represent the hotel at industry events to promote its facilities.

Qualifications:

  • The Director of Events should possess 5+ years of experience in event management, catering, or a similar role in a 4-star hotel or upscale venue
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or a related field is preferred
  • Fluency in Japanese is a plus
  • The Director of Events should have a proven track record of achieving financial and service goals
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential
  • The Director of Events should have a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
  • Open availability is required
