Title of Position: Catering Sales Manager


Compensation: $80k to $85k plus incentive program


Job Responsibilities:

The Catering Sales Manager will develop and implement strategic catering sales plans to drive revenue and create exceptional event experiences. Responsibilities include proactively building relationships with clients, conducting site tours, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts with professionalism and care. The Catering Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the catering, sales, and operations teams to ensure flawless event execution, managing event details such as Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), resumes, and billing follow-up. This role also involves staying informed on industry trends, representing the hotel at community and industry events, and supporting the Catering Coordinator while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • The Catering Sales Manager should always be able to provide consistent support for the success of the operation
  • Trust, honesty, integrity, and a true passion for customer satisfaction are requirements for the Catering Sales Manager
  • The Catering Sales Manager must be proficient in achieving solid financial results and exceeding guest expectations
  • Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales or catering sales experience, ideally in resort or destination markets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Delphi experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and guest-service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with grace and attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
