Kitchen Manager – Upscale Casual | $75K + Bonus | Jacksonville, FL


A nationally respected, upscale-casual restaurant group is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations in Jacksonville. This is not a “clipboard manager” role — this is for a leader who commands the line, sets the standard, and takes pride in building a kitchen team that executes at a high level every shift.

This is full BOH leadership responsibility.

You will:

·        Lead daily kitchen operations with a hands-on, visible presence

·        Uphold quality, presentation, and execution standards

·        Drive food cost, ordering, inventory, and waste management

·        Manage labor and scheduling to meet budget goals

·        Hire, train, coach, and develop a disciplined culinary team

·        Maintain sanitation, food safety, and organization standards

·        Step in as Manager on Duty when needed and support overall operations

 

The right leader for this role:

·        Has 2+ years as a Kitchen Manager or strong Sous Chef in upscale or polished casual dining

·        Understands scratch kitchens and quality-driven execution

·        Can manage cost controls without sacrificing standards

·        Leads with confidence, composure, and accountability

·        Builds strong teams and coaches consistently

·        Is comfortable running the shift independently

·        Takes ownership and pride in their kitchen
