Gecko Hospitality is conducting a confidential search on behalf of our restaurant client for a dedicated, full-time Kitchen Manager to lead their culinary team in Ogunquit, Maine.

Since 2015, our restaurant has been a staple in Ogunquit, Maine, serving exceptional artisanal pizza and hand-selected local and imported craft beers. Our menu features chef-created pizzas made from homemade dough, alongside savory appetizers and entrees inspired by the freshest ingredients—including house-made sausage, fresh Maine lobster, and local produce. Every dish is cooked in our signature stone oven and thoughtfully paired with craft beers to ensure optimum flavor combinations.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager who understands the nuances of a scratch kitchen and the fast-paced environment of a popular seasonal-yet-year-round destination. You will oversee all back-of-house operations, ensuring that the high standards of our chef-created menu and artisanal dough are consistently met.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven Kitchen Management experience.
• Specialized Skill: At least 2 years of dedicated pizza cooking experience, preferably working with fresh dough and stone ovens.
• Leadership: Strong ability to train, schedule, and motivate back-of-house staff to maintain a positive and highly efficient kitchen culture.
• Operational Excellence: Expertise in inventory control, food cost management, and maintaining strict sanitation and safety standards.
