We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to step into a leadership role at our Phoenix, AZ venue. This full-time position promises both rewarding challenges and ample opportunities to leave your culinary mark.


Job Qualifications

As a qualified candidate, you will possess:

  • A culinary degree (preferred) and/or 3–5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience.
  • Strong expertise in inventory management, food costing, and labor control.
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Experience in high-volume, full-service, or resort-style culinary operations.
  • Dependable organizational skills, including scheduling and forecasting.
  • Proficiency with basic Microsoft systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to thrive in evening/PM shifts and high-pressure environments.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are highly desirable but not mandatory.


Job Responsibilities

In this pivotal Sous Chef role in Phoenix, AZ, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Executive Chef in leading culinary operations.
  • Ensuring food quality, consistent plating, and an exceptional guest dining experience.
  • Training, developing, and mentoring team members to foster a strong workplace culture.
  • Innovating seasonal menus while honoring our brand and guest preferences.
  • Managing food orders, inventory, scheduling, and cost/labor controls.
  • Overseeing sanitation practices and ensuring strict food safety compliance.
  • Playing a key role in banquet/catering production when required.
