Kitchen Manager Opportunity – High-Volume, Established Restaurant

Location: O'Fallon, MO

Compensation: $65,000 total compensation + benefits


We are partnering with a well-established, high-volume restaurant concept seeking a Kitchen Manager (KM) to lead back-of-house operations. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, values consistency, and takes pride in developing strong teams. This role is ideal for a culinary leader who understands systems, execution, and cost control while maintaining a positive and productive kitchen culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all back-of-house operations including food production, prep, and execution
  • Lead, train, and develop kitchen team members to maintain high performance and retention
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and adherence to brand standards
  • Manage food cost, inventory, ordering, and waste control
  • Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards
  • Partner with front-of-house leadership to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
  • Drive efficiency in scheduling, prep systems, and daily operations


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or BOH leadership experience
  • Experience in high-volume restaurant environments ($3M+ annual sales preferred)
  • Strong understanding of food cost, labor management, and inventory systems
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong teams
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong attention to detail
  • Food safety certification preferred
