We are currently hiring for a Restaurant General Manager in Training position at our Berkeley location. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced restaurant professional looking to grow into a full General Manager role with a supportive, high-performing organization in the Bay Area / East Bay.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and supervise all front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) activities
- Manage team schedules, training, onboarding, and development for FOH & BOH staff
- Ensure consistently high-quality ingredients, food preparation, and presentation standards
- Build and develop a high-performing team through coaching, skill-building, and leadership training to grow future restaurant leaders
- Drive sales and operational excellence by collaborating with the District Manager and team members
- Create and adjust staff schedules to meet business needs while controlling labor costs
- Maintain strict adherence to all health, safety, sanitation, and food safety regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience (General Manager, Assistant Manager, or equivalent)
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
