This is not a creative menu-development role. We are looking for a solution-oriented professional who excels at executing a standardized menu, controlling costs, and leading a team. With a large outdoor patio, an exterior bar, and a live entertainment license, this high-volume Tex-Mex and New York-style pizza concept offers immense summer potential and steady off-season business.

Core Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee all daily back-of-house operations, ensuring the seamless execution of our pre-existing Tex-Mex and brick-oven pizza menu.
  • Cost Management: Actively monitor and manage food and labor costs to meet strict financial targets. You must be comfortable running the numbers and managing a P&L.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff. You will provide hands-on coaching and build a culture of accountability and efficiency.
  • Quality & Sanitation: Uphold the highest standards of food safety, kitchen organization, and cleanliness at all times.
  • System Execution: Follow established recipes and operational systems to guarantee consistent food quality for every guest.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Extensive experience as a Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant setting.
  • Background in corporate chain or systems-driven restaurant groups is highly preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with a demonstrated ability to hit food and labor cost targets.
  • A pragmatic leader who takes pride in flawless execution rather than creative menu design.
  • Readiness to help the restaurant scale from a five-day operation to a full seven-day, year-round schedule.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Base Salary: $65,000 annually.
  • Performance Bonus: 3% profitability bonus, assessed every four weeks.
