We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at our upscale restaurant concept located in Livermore, California. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to grow within a high-end dining environment.

Position Overview

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of service, food quality, and ambiance. You will help lead a talented team in delivering memorable dining experiences in our sophisticated setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing all aspects of front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Deliver outstanding guest service and resolve any guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Supervise, train, and develop restaurant staff to uphold our upscale standards
  • Monitor and maintain food safety, sanitation, and compliance with all health regulations
  • Support inventory management, cost control, and profitability goals
  • Help create and execute staff schedules to ensure proper coverage
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and menu execution
  • Participate in marketing and community engagement initiatives to drive business

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in an upscale or fine dining environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional guest service
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, P&L, inventory, and cost control
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food Handler Card or ServSafe certification preferred
  • Passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence in an upscale concept
