Compensation Range: $55,000 – $65,000 annually
Role Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role partners closely with leadership and the beverage team to support the development and execution of wine and cocktail programs.
This individual will be highly visible on the floor, leading service, engaging with guests, and ensuring operational excellence across all shifts. The Restaurant Manager also plays a key role in recruiting, training, and developing team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead restaurant operations in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring smooth and effective decision-making
- Drive an elevated guest experience by actively engaging with guests and resolving concerns
- Train and develop front-of-house team members to ensure consistency and service excellence
- Hold team members accountable to performance, service, and behavioral standards
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations
- Support scheduling and labor management based on business needs
- Oversee daily operations including cleanliness, service readiness, and execution standards
- Manage beverage service execution including staff training, presentation standards, and guest education
- Maintain inventory controls including ordering, storage, and par levels
- Monitor financial performance including labor and beverage costs and take corrective action as needed
- Support special events such as wine dinners, tastings, and promotional activations
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Alcohol service certification required (or ability to obtain)
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within a full-service or fine dining environment
- Experience with POS systems
- Strong knowledge of food, beverage, wine, and service standards
- Experience in training, recruiting, and performance management

- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and basic math proficiency
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
