Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our boutique hotel operations. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. As the General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations, ensuring profitability, guest satisfaction, and adherence to brand standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate department heads and staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that aligns with the hotel’s values and culture.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and retention.
  • Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, sales, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the hotel’s physical condition, ensuring it meets luxury standards.
  • Guest Experience:
  • Champion exceptional guest service, addressing guest feedback and resolving issues promptly.
  • Continuously enhance the guest experience by implementing innovative ideas and personalized touches.
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Monitor financial performance, control costs, and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with financial policies.
  • Sales & Marketing:
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room).
  • Represent the hotel at industry events and build relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance the hotel’s brand presence and market share.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, aligning with the hotel’s vision and goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior leadership role within a boutique or luxury hotel.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and sales.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and fostering a culture of service excellence.
  • Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
