Job Qualifications

To be considered for the Country Club Executive Chef position in Prescott, AZ, candidates should possess the following:

  • Culinary degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional training and experience
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience, preferably in a private club, resort, or upscale dining environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in contemporary American cuisine, menu development, and seasonal menu planning
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse culinary team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP compliance, and health department regulations
  • Experience managing food and beverage cost controls, budgeting, and purchasing
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for quality and presentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with front-of-house teams, club management, and members
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by club operations and events
  • Experience executing banquet and event menus for intimate gatherings and large-scale celebrations alike


Job Responsibilities

As the Country Club Executive Chef in Prescott, AZ, you will:

  • Oversee all culinary operations across all dining outlets, including a la carte, banquets, and special events, ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation at all times
  • Design and develop seasonal menus that reflect contemporary American cuisine while incorporating fresh, locally sourced ingredients where possible
  • Lead, train, and mentor the culinary team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and professional development
  • Manage kitchen labor and food costs, maintaining budgetary goals without compromising quality
  • Coordinate with the events team to plan and execute menus for member events, private parties, corporate functions, weddings, and themed gatherings
  • Maintain rigorous food safety and sanitation standards throughout all kitchen operations in compliance with local health codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with club management to develop culinary programming, member engagement initiatives, and dining experiences that reflect the club's premium standards
  • Source and negotiate with vendors to ensure the procurement of the highest-quality ingredients at competitive pricing
  • Monitor inventory and manage ordering to minimize waste and ensure operational efficiency
  • Actively participate in member feedback programs, adapting menus and service to exceed member expectations consistently
