A mission-driven nonprofit fighting food insecurity is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive national growth through corporate partnerships and donor development. If you have a track record of closing large, complex deals and want your work to carry real purpose, this is worth a look.
Key Responsibilities
- National Account Development
- Identify and secure enterprise-level corporate sponsors and donors, including Fortune 1000 companies, large franchise systems, and national organizations.
- Develop customized partnership proposals aligned with sponsor CSR, ESG, and employee engagement objectives.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.
- Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary advocate and conduit between the organization and its corporate partners.
- Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Represent the organization at conferences, industry events, and sponsor meetings nationwide.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of business development, national account, or enterprise sales experience.
- Proven track record closing six- and seven-figure partnerships.
- Experience with experiential programs, sponsorships, or CSR-related offerings preferred.
- Background at organizations such as Feeding America, No Kid Hungry, or similar hunger, poverty, or health-focused nonprofits strongly preferred.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage C-suite leadership.
- Comfortable working remotely and traveling nationally as needed.
Compensation
- Base salary $80,000 – $100,000
- Performance-based incentives
