We are searching for a talented and driven Sous Chef to join a high-volume culinary operation in Midland, Texas. What You’ll Do:
- Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Lead and motivate culinary team members during service
- Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Manage inventory, ordering, food cost controls, and kitchen organization
- Ensure sanitation, safety, and health standards are consistently followed
- Help develop seasonal menus, specials, and culinary initiatives
- Train and mentor line cooks and prep staff
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the Executive Chef’s absence
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of Sous Chef experience in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, resort, or upscale dining environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Passion for culinary excellence and team development
- Experience managing food and labor costs
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Stable work history and career progression preferred
- Culinary degree is a plus, but not required.
