Salary: $70,000
An established high volume full service restaurant operation in the Miami area is looking for a Kitchen Manager who can lead from the front, drive consistency, and maintain strong culinary execution in a fast paced environment.
This operation is built around hospitality, quality, and execution. The Kitchen Manager will play a critical role in maintaining standards, developing the team, and ensuring the kitchen runs efficiently during high traffic service periods.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Overseeing daily kitchen operations and culinary execution
• Leading line level teams during high volume service
• Maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
• Managing food cost, inventory, ordering, and waste control
• Ensuring sanitation, safety, and health code compliance
• Training and developing culinary team members
• Partnering closely with front of house leadership to ensure smooth service execution
• Managing prep, production flow, and labor efficiency
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and disciplined kitchen environment
What We’re Looking For
• 2+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager, Executive Sous Chef, or similar culinary leadership role
• Full service restaurant experience required
• Experience in high volume operations strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead teams calmly and effectively during peak periods
• Understanding of food cost controls, inventory systems, and kitchen operations
• Hands on leadership style with strong attention to detail
• Passion for hospitality and team development
