Location: San Antonio, Texas Area
Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 base salary, plus bonus potential & mileage reimbursement
Relocation: Negotiable
The Opportunity
We're looking for a hands-on Area General Manager to lead a cluster of four Inn/Lodge properties in the scenic countryside just outside San Antonio. This isn't a corner-office role. You'll be on property, in the operation, and close to your teams and guests across all four locations.
If you've built your career in Select Service and know how to run tight, profitable operations without losing the personal touch, this role gives you room to lead at scale. You'll manage four properties as one connected portfolio, shaping standards, developing leaders, and driving results across the group.
The setting matters, too. These properties sit in a quieter, more scenic part of Texas, offering a change of pace from big-city hotel life while keeping San Antonio within easy reach.
What You'll Own
- Multi-Property Operations: Oversee daily operations across all four Inn/Lodge properties, keeping service, cleanliness, and guest experience consistent from one location to the next.
- Hands-On Leadership: Stay active on property. Work alongside your teams, step in where needed, and lead by example across front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
- Staff Leadership and Development: Hire, coach, and grow strong on-site managers and teams. Build a culture that keeps good people and reduces turnover across the portfolio.
- Guest Satisfaction: Protect the guest experience at every property. Monitor feedback, resolve issues quickly, and hold each location to the standards guests expect.
- Financial Performance: Own the numbers. Manage budgets, control costs, drive revenue, and deliver on P&L goals for the full cluster of properties.
- Brand Standards Compliance: Uphold brand and quality standards across all four locations, ensuring each property passes inspections and stays audit-ready.
- Strategic Planning: Partner with ownership and leadership to set direction, spot opportunities, and put plans in motion that support long-term growth.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a General Manager or Area/Multi-Property Manager in Select Service hotels
- A track record of running more than one property or location at the same time
- Strong command of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Sharp financial skills, with real results in budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth
- The leadership presence to develop teams and keep talented people in place
- A hands-on mindset. You lead from the floor, not just the spreadsheet.
- Willingness to be present across all four properties in the San Antonio area
