General Manager – Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)

Location: Abilene, Texas

Salary: $50,000 Annual Base Salary

Bonus: Quarterly Performance Incentive

Reports To: District Manager

We're searching for a motivated and hands-on General Manager to lead a high-volume Quick Service Restaurant in Abilene, Texas.

As the General Manager, you'll have full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, leading your team to achieve operational excellence, exceptional customer service, and profitable business performance.

Position Responsibilities


Restaurant Operations

  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including opening, peak service, and closing procedures.
  • Maintain exceptional standards for cleanliness, food quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, brand standards, and local Health Department regulations.

Financial Performance

  • Manage the restaurant's Profit & Loss statement.
  • Control labor costs, food costs, and operating expenses.
  • Develop schedules that maximize productivity while maintaining excellent guest service.
  • Drive sales and profitability through strong operational execution.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and coach restaurant team members.
  • Build a positive, accountable, and high-performing culture.
  • Provide ongoing performance coaching and employee development.
  • Recognize achievements and create opportunities for advancement.

Guest Experience

  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements that elevate the overall dining experience.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a Quick Service Restaurant.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L management, food cost, labor cost, and inventory control.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing restaurant teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • ServSafe Manager Certification required (or ability to obtain).
