What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading daily back-of-house restaurant operations
- Hiring, training, coaching, and developing kitchen employees
- Maintaining strong food quality, presentation, and recipe standards
- Managing food costs, labor, inventory, ordering, and waste
- Creating schedules and ensuring proper staffing levels
- Improving ticket times, kitchen organization, and shift execution
- Maintaining food-safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
- Holding team members accountable while creating a positive culture
- Partnering with front-of-house leadership to deliver an excellent guest experience
- Supporting opening, closing, preparation, and production procedures
What Will Help You Succeed
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Assistant Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or BOH Manager
- Full-service or high-volume restaurant experience
- Strong understanding of food costs, labor controls, inventory, and scheduling
- Proven ability to train, motivate, and develop kitchen employees
- A hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside the team
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions during busy services
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Food-safety or ServSafe certification is preferred
