Job Qualifications for the Human Resources Manager in Scottsdale, AZ:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR management experience in high-volume, multi-unit restaurant, entertainment, or hospitality environments.
• SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP or PHR / SPHR designation strongly preferred.
• Advanced fluency in enterprise HRIS platforms, multi-state payroll systems, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); hands-on experience with PayCom strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with benefit administration, total rewards programs, and compensation benchmarking.
• Mastery of multi-state employment regulations, with exceptional emotional intelligence, mediation skills, and professional discretion.
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety standards and initiatives.
• Excellent written communication skills, with experience updating employee and operational handbooks.
• Sound judgment and confidence leading orientation and training programs.

Job Responsibilities:

As the Human Resources Manager in Scottsdale, AZ, you will:

• Serve as a senior executive team leader reporting directly to the CEO, aligning people operations strategy with company growth goals.
• Lead benefit administration, compensation benchmarking, 401(k) planning, and total rewards programs in collaboration with Finance and Accounting.
• Own employee relations as the primary escalation point, conducting thorough workplace investigations and delivering executive coaching across departments.
• Develop scalable recruiting systems, structured onboarding protocols, and interview tools to attract and retain strong front-of-house and back-of-house talent.
• Promote a culture of accountability through proactive safety initiatives and systematic compliance audits across multiple states.
• Optimize HR processes within the PayCom HRIS platform, maintaining current employee policies and operational handbooks.
• Facilitate leadership training programs that drive cultural alignment, reduce turnover, and support long-term team stability.
• Conduct wage analysis and employee surveys to identify compensation gaps and workplace improvement opportunities.
