We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to lead a highly regarded boutique dining and hospitality concept in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This established full-service venue features a vibrant bar program, exceptional guest experiences, and strong community engagement, while maintaining a business model that is not dependent on late-night operations.

Position Overview

The Restaurant General Manager will have full responsibility for all day-to-day operations, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team development. This leader will oversee a management team of five, including front-of-house managers and kitchen management professionals. Candidates should possess Virginia Beach seasonal market knowledge and a proven history leading $4M+ full-service operations.

Key Responsibilities

Direct all restaurant operations with a focus on guest experience, profitability, and team leadership

Lead, coach, and develop a team of five managers, including Kitchen Managers

Drive sales growth and maintain operational excellence in a full-service environment

Manage budgeting, forecasting, labor controls, inventory, and P&L accountability

Recruit, train, mentor, and retain high-performing teams

Navigate seasonal fluctuations unique to the Virginia Beach market

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant

Experience managing $4M+ annual sales volume

Strong Virginia Beach seasonal market knowledge

Experience leading multiple managers across BOH and FOH

Strong financial acumen and team development skills

Passion for hospitality and mentoring future leaders
