About the Role

This GM lives on-site and runs operations with full autonomy.

What You'll Own

• Front desk, housekeeping, and the on-site bar/F&B outlet, including alcohol compliance
• SOPs across departments, enforced independent of ownership presence
• Labor: scheduling, retention, overtime, and cost against revenue
• Guest experience, including call quality and review performance
• Rates, inventory, and daily PMS operations (Cloudbeds preferred); task discipline via Breezeway or equivalent
• Hiring and bench-building so no role is a single point of failure
• Operational gaps personally while the team is built out
• The weddings and events program
• A weekly ownership scorecard

What You Bring

• Proven GM, AGM, or property-level leadership at a boutique, independent, or resort property
• A track record running a property to standard without daily owner oversight
• PMS fluency (Cloudbeds a plus)
• Strong labor discipline and F&B oversight
• A builder's instinct: installs process, trains people, closes loops
• Willingness to live on-site, work weekends with midweek days off
• Genuine comfort with rural, small-town life long-term
