Job Summary:
As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency in a high-volume environment. You will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, controlling costs, and working closely with the General Manager to achieve operational goals. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership position based in Statesboro, GA
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food prep, line execution, and shift leadership
- Hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring performance and productivity
- Monitor food quality and consistency, ensuring compliance with brand standards
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation per health and safety regulations in Statesboro, GA
- Control food and labor costs through efficient ordering, prep, and scheduling
- Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Oversee inventory management and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal food safety laws in Statesboro, GA
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in kitchen management, preferably in a high-volume, casual dining environment
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
