General Manager - Bakery / Cafe

Job Description

We are searching for an entrepreneurial and hands-on General Manager to oversee operations at our bustling bakery and cafe. If you are passionate about exceptional food, delivering great customer experiences, and managing a successful team, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations of our bakery and full-service restaurant.
Engage in catering sales to grow an additional revenue stream.
Manage and develop staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Handle labor planning, scheduling, and maintaining efficiency.
Work with operating costs, ensuring profitability without compromising quality.
Utilize basic Excel for scheduling, reporting, and cost management.
Maintain high-quality standards in our bakery offerings and service.

Qualifications

Proven experience in baking and/or bakery operations.
Background in managing full-service restaurants, including floor operations.
Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage a growing team.
Knowledge of catering operations or sales is a plus.
Familiarity with labor management and cost control.
Proficiency in basic Excel for tracking operational efficiency.
