A well-established restaurant organization is seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service restaurant and bar in Clifton, NJ.

We are looking for a dynamic leader who thrives in an energetic environment where great food, a strong bar program, private events, entertainment, and memorable guest experiences come together.

The ideal candidate is passionate about building strong teams, creating an engaging culture, and driving both operational and financial performance.

What You'll Do

Lead all day-to-day restaurant and bar operations
Coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing management team
Deliver an exceptional guest experience that drives repeat business
Manage P&L performance, including sales, labor, food and beverage costs, and profitability
Recruit, train, develop, and retain top hospitality talent
Oversee scheduling, inventory, purchasing, and operational controls
Maintain strong food safety, sanitation, and operational standards
Support private events, promotions, entertainment, and community engagement
Foster a positive, accountable, guest-first culture

What We're Looking For

5+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
Experience managing $5M+ in annual sales
Strong bar and beverage operations experience
Proven success developing managers and building strong teams
Solid understanding of restaurant P&Ls and financial controls
Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

Preferred Experience

Experience in high-volume full-service, upscale casual, sports bar, tavern, or entertainment-driven restaurant concepts is preferred. Experience with private events, banquet business, or entertainment is highly desirable. Strong beer, wine, and spirits knowledge is a plus.
