Cassandra Crombie brings a wealth of experience to the field of Human Resources and recruiting, amassing over 12 years of expertise within the realm of resorts.
In her most recent role, Cassandra served as the Human Resources Manager for Sunseeker Resort in Charlotte Harbor, Florida. Prior to her tenure at Sunseeker, Cassandra held the position of Area Director of Human Resources for Gurney’s Resorts, with properties in Newport, Rhode Island, and Montauk, New York. Her accomplishments at Gurney’s included overseeing the successful launch of Gurney’s Newport Resort and Gurney’s Star Island Resort and Marina. Before joining the Gurney’s team, Cassandra served as the Director of Human Resources for the Hyatt Regency in Newport, Rhode Island, while working with Davidson Hotels.
Cassandra's academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in business management, specializing in Human Resources, from Utica College of Syracuse University.
Outside of her professional life, Cassandra shares her journey with her husband, Steve, and their three children: Reese (6), Payton (2), and Maddox (6 months). When they manage to steal a moment of free time, the Crombie family can often be found enjoying boating adventures or relaxing by the water. Their deep affection for Block Island, Rhode Island, is a well-known part of their lives, as no Crombie summer is truly complete without a cherished trip to the island for basking in the sunshine and indulging in their favorite mudslides.
