Title of Position - Pastry Chef

Job Description: The Pastry Chef will need to have full-service restaurant Pastry experience. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: training, mentoring, and maintaining the highest quality culinary team available. This person must be able to drive profits through cost analysis and have a strong knowledge of P&L. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for all equipment sanitation and maintenance and must be able to communicate effectively to delegate such tasks appropriately and diligently, following the strictest standards and procedures set in place.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and execute all pastry and dessert items for 2 restaurants with high standards.
- Develop and refine dessert menus, ensuring creativity and alignment with seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
- Maintain consistency and quality by following standardized recipes and plating guidelines.
- Oversee ordering and inventory for all pastry-related ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper storage, labeling, and cleanliness.
- Train and mentor pastry team members, fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team on menu development and special event planning.
- Monitor and manage costs related to pastry production, including labor and ingredient expenses.
- Ensure the pastry kitchen is maintained in a clean, organized, and professional manner.

Qualifications:
·        The Pastry Chef must have restaurant pastry chef experience of at least 2 years
·        A passion for mentoring and developing others is necessary for the Pastry Chef
·        As solid track record in creating exceptional deserts is necessary for the Pastry Chef
