A fast-casual bakery-café in the Bronx, NY is seeking a skilled and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational and customer service skills, capable of managing staff, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering a high-quality guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members to ensure high performance and adherence to service standards.
- Oversee scheduling, labor management, and workflow to maintain efficient operations.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, safety, and sanitation to meet health and company standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relations to maintain stock levels and control costs.
- Track financial performance, including labor and food costs, and implement strategies to achieve profitability goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety regulations.
- Support promotions, community initiatives, and special events to drive traffic and sales.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of restaurant management experience in fast-casual or quick-service environments.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate staff.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, labor planning, and inventory management.
- Ability to handle customer issues effectively and maintain high service standards.
