Hospitality Management & Real Estate Portfolio | Tampa Area
A well established hospitality and real estate organization is looking for an Accounting Specialist who thrives in a structured but collaborative environment. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands on, detail driven, and part of a close knit corporate team that values professionalism, accountability, and long term growth.
This is not a transactional accounting role where you sit in a silo all day. The right person will play an important role supporting multiple entities while working closely with leadership on day to day financial operations, reporting, reconciliations, and overall accounting support.
The position is full time and based in office, Monday through Friday.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Managing day to day accounting functions across multiple entities
• Processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activity
• Preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate accounting records
• Completing monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with monthly financial reporting and supporting schedules
• Supporting audit preparation and annual budgeting processes
• Reviewing financial data for accuracy and identifying discrepancies when needed
• Maintaining organized financial documentation and records retention
• Assisting with administrative and accounting projects as needed
What We’re Looking For
• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience in a multi entity or fast paced environment
• Experience with AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger accounting
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working within accounting systems
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Professional communication skills and a team first mindset
• Strong sense of confidentiality and accountability
• Hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or real estate accounting exposure is a plus
