Are you ready to take the lead in a high-impact sales role in one of Philly’s most dynamic and strategically positioned markets? We are seeking a driven, strategic, and relationship-focused Director of Sales to lead the sales function for a Select Service hotel in Philadelphia, PA
This is an opportunity for a sales leader who wants to build their team, influence outcomes, shape strategy, and drive meaningful revenue growth, working from a solid current book of business.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute the hotel’s overall sales strategy across corporate, group, and transient segments
Drive revenue growth through proactive prospecting, account development, and strategic positioning
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, meeting planners, associations, and local partners
Collaborate closely with the General Manager and operations team to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction
Identify and reactivate past accounts while developing new revenue channels
Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, contracting, and reporting with accuracy and discipline
Represent the hotel within the Philadelphia business community, including local networking events, CVB initiatives, and industry functions
Utilize market data, STR reports, and competitive analysis to inform strategy and maximize profitability
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, preferably within a full-service or branded hotel environment
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team while driving measurable results
Strong background in revenue strategy, forecasting, and budgeting
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
Experience with hotel sales systems, CRM platforms, and reporting tools
