ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Department Manager to join a high-volume, full-service casual dining and sports entertainment concept known for its fast-paced environment, strong team culture, and exceptional guest experiences.
This position oversees a designated area of the restaurant and partners closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations. Comparable to an Assistant Manager role in many restaurant concepts, this is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality leader looking to grow into higher levels of management.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Department Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day operations within an assigned department while helping drive guest satisfaction, team performance, food quality, operational excellence, and financial results.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires working alongside the team, coaching employees, and maintaining high standards during lunch, dinner, game days, and late-night business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations Leadership
Lead daily operations within an assigned department
Support overall restaurant execution by maintaining exceptional guest service standards
Ensure food quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence
Assist with opening, closing, and shift management responsibilities
Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company operating standards
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, coach, and develop hourly team members
Provide ongoing feedback, recognition, and performance coaching
Promote a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and hospitality
Support staffing and scheduling to meet business demands
Financial Performance
Assist with labor management, inventory, and food cost controls
Support sales growth and operational efficiency initiatives
Help maintain profitability through effective execution and attention to detail
Guest Experience
Deliver exceptional hospitality and create memorable guest experiences
Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
Lead by example during high-volume service periods
Ensure consistent execution of company standards throughout every shift
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum one to three years of restaurant management or leadership experience
Experience in high-volume casual dining, sports bar, or full-service restaurant environments preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to motivate and develop team members
Knowledge of labor management, food safety, inventory, and restaurant operations
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
Passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding guest experience
